| Geste excessif, incongru, déplacé qui me rappelle un autre geste excessif : celui de cette femme qui fait irruption dans la salle des convives avec son flacon de parfum hors de prix et qui en enduit les pieds de Jésus avant de les essuyer – avec quoi ? – avec ses cheveux. Geste fou, déplacé, inconvenant, excessif. | An excessive, incongruous, inappropriate gesture which reminds me of another excessive gesture : when this lady burst into the room with all the guests, carrying a priceless perfume bottle and who poured it on Jesus » feet before wiping them with – what ? – her hair. A crazy, inconvenient, excessive move. |
| Qu’est-ce qui en Jésus peut provoquer de tels excès chez ceux qui le rencontrent ? | What is there in Jesus that can trigger such excesses from the ones who meet him ? |
| Je dirai que c’est de faire l’expérience qu’en lui se déploie une puissance de relèvement que rien en ce monde ne peut empêcher – ni la mort, ni le mal. | I would say it is experiencing his power of redressing, of raising anew, that nothing from this world can stop – neither death nor evil. |
| Quand on fait l’expérience d’être rejoint au tréfonds de soi par cette puissance de résurrection, on ne peut que déborder d’amour, et l’amour amène souvent à poser des gestes excessifs – qu’on ne regrettera jamais. | When experiencing this power of resurrection joining us in our most inner self, we can only be overflowing with love and love often leads to excessive gestures – which we will never regret. |

Voici comment il se manifesta. | After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias ; and on this wise shewed he himself. |
| シモン・ペトロ、ディディモと呼ばれるトマス、ガリラヤのカナ出身のナタナエル、ゼベダイの子たち、それにほかの二人の弟子が一緒にいた。 | 2 Simon-Pierre, Thomas qu’on appelle Didyme, Nathanaël de Cana de Galilée, les fils de Zébédée et deux autres disciples se trouvaient ensemble. | 2 There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples. |
| シモン・ペトロが、「私は漁に出る」と言うと、彼らは、「私たちも一緒に行こう」と言った。彼らは出て行って、舟に乗り込んだ。しかし、その夜は何も捕れなかった。 | 3 Simon-Pierre leur dit : « Je vais pêcher. » Ils lui dirent : « Nous allons avec toi. » Ils sortirent et montèrent dans la barque, mais cette nuit-là, ils ne prirent rien. | 3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately ; and that night they caught nothing |
| すでに夜が明けた頃、イエスが岸に立っておられた。だが、弟子たちは、それがイエスだとは分からなかった。 | 4 C’était déjà le matin ; Jésus se tint là sur le rivage, mais les disciples ne savaient pas que c’était lui. | 4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore : but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. |
| イエスが、「子たちよ、何かおかずになる物は捕れたか」と言われると、彼らは、「捕れません」と答えた。 | 5 Il leur dit : « Eh, les enfants, n’avez-vous pas un peu de poisson ? » - « Non » , lui répondirent-ils. | 5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat ? They answered him, No |
| イエスは言われた。「舟の右側に網を打ちなさい。そうすれば捕れるはずだ。」そこで、網を打ってみると、魚があまりに多くて、もはや網を引き上げることができなかった。 | 6 Il leur dit : « Jetez le filet du côté droit de la barque et vous trouverez. » Ils le jetèrent et il y eut tant de poissons qu’ils ne pouvaient plus le ramener. | 6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. |
| イエスの愛しておられたあの弟子がペトロに、「主だ」と言った。シモン・ペトロは「主だ」と聞くと、裸だったので、上着をまとって湖に飛び込んだ。 | 7 Le disciple que Jésus aimait dit alors à Pierre : « C’est le Seigneur ! » Dès qu’il eut entendu que c’était le Seigneur, Simon-Pierre ceignit un vêtement, car il était nu, et il se jeta à la mer. | 7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. |
| ほかの弟子たちは魚のかかった網を引いて、舟で戻って来た。陸から二百ペキスばかりしか離れていなかったのである。 | 8 Les autres disciples revinrent avec la barque, en tirant le filet plein de poissons : ils n’étaient pas bien loin de la rive, à deux cents coudées environ. | 8 And the other disciples came in a little ship ; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes. |

| そこで、シモン・ペトロが舟に乗り込んで網を陸に引き上げると、百五十三匹もの大きな魚でいっぱいであった。それほど多く捕れたのに、網は破れていなかった。 | 11 Simon-Pierre remonta donc dans la barque et il tira à terre le filet que remplissaient cent cinquante-trois gros poissons, et quoiqu’il y en eût tant, le filet ne se déchira pas. | 11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three : and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken. |
| イエスは、「さあ、来て、朝の食事をしなさい」と言われた。弟子たちは誰も、「あなたはどなたですか」と問いただそうとはしなかった。主であると分かっていたからである。 | 12 Jésus leur dit : « Venez déjeuner. » Aucun des disciples n’osait lui poser la question : « Qui es-tu ? » : ils savaient bien que c’était le Seigneur. | 12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou ? knowing that it was the Lord. |
| イエスは来て、パンを取り、弟子たちに与えられた。魚も同じようにされた。 | 13 Alors Jésus vient ; il prend le pain et le leur donne ; il fit de même avec le poisson. | 13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise. |
| イエスが死者の中から復活した後、弟子たちに現れたのは、これでもう三度目である。 | 14 Ce fut la troisième fois que Jésus se manifesta à ses disciples depuis qu’il s’était relevé d’entre les morts. | 14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead. |
